Mark Levin, MD, MBA

 

Mark Levin, MD, MBA

Dr. Levin had been Associate Professor of Medicine while a full-time attending at the University Hospital in Newark until 2009. Prior to 2004, he had been an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at Weil-Cornell College of Medicine.  He is currently in private practice in Bergen County, New Jersey.  He is first author of over thirty academic articles, chapters and several books.  Over the past two decades, he held the following positions:

*Interim Chief of Hematology and Oncology at the New Jersey Medical School

*Director of the Cancer Center at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, NJ

*Chief of Hematology and Oncology and Chief of Service at Lincoln Medical Center and concurrently Director of the Cancer Center of the Northern Manhattan + Network of the Health and Hospitals Corporation in New York City

*Co-Director of Oncology at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY

Dr. Levin has also developed and ran two clinical research programs as well as a community advocacy group, a consulting group, and a non-profit educational institution.

He was listed several times as the best in his specialty by the Castle Connolly Guide to Americas top Doctors.  He has an MD and an MBA and is Licensed in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

Lewis Cohen

 

Lewis Cohen

A 28 year veteran at Citigroup, Lewis has held many significant roles in Citigroup’s Global Consumer Banking businesses.  In his last assignment with Citi as Global Data Strategy Officer, Lewis provided the vision and leadership for the company’s enterprise-wide focus on data strategy in support of its global, customer-centric business efforts. In this capacity, Lewis has been responsible for bringing together numerous partnering stakeholders across the company – including the Executive Office, Operations & Technology, Legal, Compliance, Risk, HR and the businesses, to address the challenges and opportunities of managing and governing Citi’s vast data resources.

Lewis served as the Planning and Strategy Lead for Citi’s Global Decision Management function from 2004-2010 where he was responsible for developing the organization’s strategy as well and managing teams of business analysts and statisticians around the globe. In addition to his strategy and analytic management roles, Lewis served as Decision Management’s expert in Global Consumer and Business Credit Bureaus as well as Database Marketing Technology. In that capacity he was (and is) frequently referenced by Citi’s consumer marketing and risk officers in businesses around the globe.

Prior to joining Global Decision Management, during 1995-2003 Lewis was a member of Citi’s NA Card Products senior team where he built a national database marketing organization that served as a major enabler of the credit card business’ phenomenal growth during those years.  He had direct oversight of the business’ marketing operations including list acquisition, direct advertising, list data processing, credit bureau management and model implementation for the direct mail, telemarketing and online channels.

Lewis spent a number of years in Citi’s Retail Banking business providing Risk, Analytic and Marketing expertise to a diverse set of financial services businesses from Branch Banking to Insurance and Investing.

Lewis has been involved in local community education for years and has served on a number of school boards. He is currently the president of the board of the MBCM Girl’s High school in Monsey, NY. He is the father of five children all married, and has well over a dozen wonderful grandchildren.

Lewis received bachelor’s degrees in Anthropology, German and History from the State University of NY at Albany and earned a masters in Math and Computer Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Teaneck, New Jersey. Lewis also completed a three year course of study in Jewish Jurisprudence and in 2007 received a Rabbinic Ordination from the Pirchai Shoshanim Seminary in Jerusalem, Israel.

Al Musella, DPM

Al Musella, DPM is a doctor of Podiatric Medicine, in private practice as a podiatrist since 1984. His interest in brain cancer comes from several family members who died from brain cancer.  He started the first online support group dedicated to brain cancer patients, in early 1993, on Compuserve.  He created the first online database of brain tumor clinical trials and other treatments. In 1998, Dr Musella formed the Musella Foundation For Brain Tumor Research & Information, Inc – a nonprofit, public charity dedicated to helping families through the diagnosis of a brain tumor and speeding up the search for the cure. He currently serves as the president of the organization.

Dr. Musella has lectured extensively across the county on brain tumors. Dr Musella has been named as the Conference Honoree at the 1998 National Brain Tumor conference, has received the 2009 Tom Gullikson Spirit Award and the 2009 Voices Award.  He is currently on the executive board of the UCLA Brain Tumor Center, and is the chairman of the grants committee and executive board member of Voices Against Brain Cancer.

Dr. Musella has been involved in many of the major advocacy battles for brain cancer: he testified at the FDA meetings on Avastin and the Novocure TTF Device and testified to Medicare on payments for Temodar and Gliadel.  Dr Musella was the patient advocate on the committee that wrote the package insert for Temodar.
