Current guidelines of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) and the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists recommend physical examination every 3-6 months for 2 years, then every 6 months or annually. Further evaluation with vaginal cytologic evidence is recommended every 6 months for 2 years and annually thereafter. To date, there are no prospective studies that have evaluated the role of surveillance in endometrial cancer follow-up evaluation
