Weekly Taxol in endometrial cancer – pro
Most experience with weekly palctiaxel in endomterial cancer is with weekly paclitaxel and carboplatin, The strategy of switching to weekly Txol after a good repsosne to Taxol/ Carbo has been studied.
An early paper by Markman looked at the issue of switching to weekly paclitaxel after a response to carbo and platinum. H e concluded that the weekly administration of paclitaxel is a rational management approach in women with metastatic or recurrent endometrial cancer who have previously received treatment with both a platinum agent and paclitaxel.
