Methylnatrexone (Movantik) for pruritis – pro

Methylnatrexone is recently identified as being helpful in managing pruritis from opiods as well as pruritis from other causes. British Society of Dermatology recommends it a a 4tht line drug.It says: ” Naltrexone or nalmefene are considered fourth‐line treatments (Strength of recommendation D (GPP); Level of evidence 4)”.
