Temazolamide and lapatinib for ependymoma – pro
Some phase II evidence is available to support some clinical activity for this combination; however, only 20 patients had ependymoma in the Gilbert study. The study concluded: ” This treatment, with demonstrated clinical activity with objective responses and prolonged disease control associated with disease-related symptom improvements, is an option as a salvage regimen for adult patients with recurrent ependymoma.”. I do not consider this sufficient evidence to not render this treatment E/I.
