Veoza (fezolinetant) – menopausal symptoms – pro

Veozah (fezolinetant) is a non-hormonal, prescription oral medication used to treat moderate to severe hot flashes and night sweats caused by menopause. Approved by the FDA in May 2023, it is the first neurokinin 3 (NK3) receptor antagonist for this purpose.
It is non-hormonal based interventions. As such, it is a good alternative and different from the formulary preferred drug. As an FDA approved option, it is appropriate to be used first.
