BEP for testicular cancer: 3 is as good as 4 cycles – pro

The great majority of testicular cancer is cured with limited chemotherapy and the remaining cases have a high cure rate with a transplant. The BEP regimen was proven to have less toxicity and a higher cure rate and therefore, since 1984, has been standard chemotherapy.  NCCN recommends 3 cycles of BEP or 4 of EP. The notes do not indicate a particularly poor prognosis disease.
