GeneDx is a panel of genetic predispositions for breast cancer. The panel includes: TM, BARD1, BRCA1, BRCA2, BRIP1, CDH1, CHEK2, EPCAM, FANCC, MLH1, MSH2, MSH6, NBN, PALB2, PMS2, PTEN, RAD51C, RAD51D, STK11, TP53, XRCC2. While there are guidelines for some of them, such as BRCA, others are more recently identified genetic alterations and it is not known how they can be used to direct preventive measures, genetic counseling of family members or treatment of identified cases.
