Continuation, or “maintenance,” therapy in advanced NSCLC is of some utility for non-small cell lung cancer. Among the effective agents is durvalumab. Progression-free survival was significantly longer with durvalumab than with placebo. The secondary endpoints also favored durvalumab, and safety was similar between the groups.This drug si FDA approved: MFINZI is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with unresectable Stage III non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) whose disease has not progressed following concurrent platinum-based chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
