Yes. Stopping menorrhagia during chemotherapy is well established and would be beneficial to this patient during her chemotherapy. Cancer in young women, but when it occurs, menstruation can result in clinically significant complications. Birth Control Pills or depot progesterone have been used, as well as leuprolide.
