PET for liposarcoma – pro
A recent study by Zhou, looked specifically at liposarcoma and concluded that:
the density, metabolic degree, metabolism uniformity of different subtypes retroperitoneal liposarcoma are different. Preoperative PET/CT can accurately judge the range and metastasis of tumor, and preliminarily determine the pathological subtype of tumor, which is helpful to guide the design of surgical scheme.
