Surveillance of ocular melanoma – Pro

Unfortunately, there are no clear recommendations for the surveillance of hepatic metastases after the treatment of ocular melanoma. The lack of consensus is due to the notable absence of clear data regarding the best radiologic or serum surveillance modalities, the optimal frequency of testing, or the ideal length of follow-up. It is not known hw0 long to follow or whether CT scan of the abdomen as opposed to liver ultrasound it appropriate.
