Hailey-Hailey disease, also known as benign chronic pemphigus, is a rare skin condition that usually appears in early adulthood. There are publications that support the use of tacrolimus topically for this condition. Evidence for topical treatments of familial benign chronic pemphigus is limited to case reports, case series, and expert opinion. This level so evidence si considered adequate for acceptance in the field of dermatology.
